I can understand on your opinions about them that you think you know, but you don't. A super high hp z would be the exception, anything with decent street hp 300-600 would benefit on many areas with them vs without them. If you're trying to launch your car every time you go out with mid to high hp anyway without properly setting your car up for it you're doing it wrong anyway. There is a reason why Every fbody/vette/mustang/etc owner out there serious about performance changes out the gears on their car.
